Class Descriptions

Cycling: Adjustable stationary bikes are used to stimulate cycling training and focus on intensity and visualization training for the mind. The intensity level is controlled by the participant. This class can accommodate beginner through extremely advanced levels of riders.

Combo Training: A combination of at least two different formats within one class. Formats may include hi/lo, step, kickboxing, ball, strength, cycling or interval.

Core & Flexibility:
Designed to focus on the stabilization and movement systems of the abdominal and lower back regions and to enhance full range of motion with sttic and active stretching.

Interval Training: Alternating strength training with cardiovascular exercise. Good for an all-around strength and conditioning workout.

Kickboxing: A high-energy class that includes kicks, punches, combinations, cardio drills, and core strengthening. Kickboxing develops cardiovascular strength and endurance as well as muscular definition. Intensity level is controlled by the participant and is easily modified, therefore all fitness levels are welcome to participate.

Line Dancing: A fun filled, low impact cardiovascular class that utilizes line dance choreography for a complete creative workout. All levels of exercisers are welcomed.

Pilates
: A uniquely modified form of our standard Pilates class designed to maximize strength and core stability while still maintaining participation levels for all.
     Benefits: strength and endurance and flexibility.

Strong Arms/Legs/Body: Strength training that targets specific muscle groups using barbells, dumbbells, resistance tubing, and body weight. Helps to improve bone density, tendon/ligament strength, and to increase lean muscle mass, which aids in fat loss. Strong body provides strength training for all muscle groups within one class.

Senior Fitness
: A low impact cardio and strength workout for mature exercisers, although all are welcome.

Super Seniors: Low impact, moderate intensity movements essential for strength, stabilization, full range of motion, balance, and flexibility which enhances and enriches quality of life for all participant fitness levels.

Tai Chi
: Class utilizes the technique and skills of Tai Chi martial arts with an emphasis on a basic, fundamental approach for all levels.
     Benefits: flexibility, skill-related and strength and endurance.

Walking Club: Structured, indoor walking program designed to enrich cardiovascular endurance for all ages and fitness levels.

Yoga
: Fitness based, demystified yoga class for physically active individuals wanting to lengthen and strengthen their muscles. Mind and body are balanced by including elements of a full body workout through strength building static poses. All levels are welcome.
